CQUK is currently looking for people to help out in every possible way. Essential roles that need filling as soon as possible are:

Operations/Logistics Officer

Positioned at the core of the organisation of the camp, this position requires impeccable time management and organisational skills; you will be responsible for the running of the camp from a logistical point of view. Duties will include; arrangement of any transport requirements, arranging camp insurance, and reserving/acquiring camp equipment.

Marketing Officer

A creative and communicative person is required to lead the marketing campaign for CQUK. You will be responsible for reporting to the supporters, parents, children and any other interested parties, as to the progress and goings on of CQUK. It would be beneficial if you have a basic understanding of Web Page design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.), however this is not essential as support can be provided.

Fundraising Officer

Reporting directly to the Treasurer you will be responsible for spearheading the effort to raise charity funds. The ideal candidate will be charismatic, resourceful and have a talent for networking and a good nose for cash!

There are many more positions available, but at this early stage the three positions highlighted above are crucial in getting the project on its feet, so to speak. Remember curiosity does not constitute an appointment to a position, if you would just like to know more, or are interested but not certain regarding a position then please do get in touch.

If you feel like you wish to take a more front line role, then we are also on the lookout for Camp Counsellors, you will be responsible for the welfare of a small group of children during the actual camp. Energy is the key to this role; you will need to be able to keep up with the activeness of youth. Finally, are you, or do you know someone who is either a Nurse, or a Medical Doctor? While our counsellors will have basic first aid training we would ideally have a trained medical person on site at all times.
